kinegram.digital has outlined how its identity verification technology can support secure access to eGovernment services by enabling authorities to check electronic passports and identity cards through mobile devices. The company’s approach combines machine-readable zone scanning with NFC chip reading, allowing document data to be captured and authenticated within digital public-service workflows.
The MOBILE SCAN SDK automatically reads the MRZs of passports, ID cards and driving licences, while the MOBILE CHIP SDK accesses and verifies information stored on NFC-enabled document chips. Used together, the tools are designed to reduce manual data entry and create a stronger connection between the physical credential and the person using an online government service.
Chip-based verification can help confirm document authenticity and data integrity, including checks intended to identify cloned or manipulated chips. kinegram.digital says its online configuration can connect an end user’s document to an on-premises validation service, making it suitable for remote transactions conducted on devices that are not managed by the issuing authority. An offline version is also available for trusted devices, with verification performed locally where connectivity is limited or undesirable.
