Fragomen and SICPA Partner on Digital ID

Fragomen and SICPA have formed a global strategic joint venture to develop and deploy digital identity infrastructure for governments, enterprises and individuals.

Fragomen is best known as a specialist immigration and global mobility firm. It has more than 5,500 staff across more than 70 offices, supporting clients in over 170 countries. Its work includes visa and work permit processing, as well as technology-enabled case management.

The venture will combine Fragomen’s operational experience in handling identity evidence across jurisdictions (particularly where credentials must be accepted by multiple authorities) with SICPA’s secure identification and authentication technologies.

The aim of the venture is to provide an end-to-end, standards-based platform that connects identity verification with document authentication, enabling trusted information to be securely verified and exchanged across borders and digital environments while maintaining the highest levels of security and privacy.
