ODDS 2025 – Programme Highlights

Set in the historic and vibrant city of Warsaw, Poland (15-17 September), the Optical & Digital Document Security™ (ODDS) 2025 conference continues its mission of showcasing the most advanced research, innovation, and debate in the field of document protection.

With a dynamic programme that ranges from cutting-edge optical features to quantum-resilient digital security, ODDS 2025 is where ideas are shared, challenged, and transformed into realworld solutions.

The 2025 programme is built around eight themed sessions over two days, with papers from world-leading industrial and institutional laboratories, including:

  • Orell Füssli and Scantrust – presenting their joint digital security feature development JAGUAR.
  • Institute Industrial IT – exploring the vulnerabilities of document security to AIbased authentication adversarial attacks.
  • Dr Paul Dunn and Ian Lancaster – explaining their approach to producing the fourth edition of the seminal work in this field – ‘Optical Document Security’.
  • ZSST – reporting on their work into 3D light-field technologies with full parallax effect.
  • Surys IN Groupe – showcasing how robust optical security can be derived from zero-order structures.
  • Diametryx – exploring a stimulusresponsive, colour-changing ‘particle-in-a-particle’, for use in authentication applications.
