ODDS 2024: Still Innovating After All These Years

The Optical & Digital Document Security™ (ODDS) conference series has established itself as the only technical conference for advances in the crossover between physical, digital, and virtual document security. ODDS has been the launchpad for numerous new techniques that go on to achieve commercial success in the ID and secure document industry.

This reputation was further cemented by the recent presentation from Sebastian Mader of OVD Kinegram, Switzerland, titled ‘Utilising Two-Colour Colourshifts for Highest Security’. Mader began his paper by highlighting the various colourshift innovations introduced at previous ODDS conferences. These innovations have significantly contributed to the field, setting new standards for security features in documents.
