New Product Launch from Regula
Regula Forensics has unveiled the spectrometer-microscope Regula 5006, a two-in-one device tailored for advanced forensic scrutiny of identity and other secure documents.
The Regula 5006 is a portable device designed for use in both fixed-site and mobile laboratories, providing forensic investigators with a high level of flexibility.
Its technical attributes include:
Magnification capabilities of up to 300x, allowing detailed examination of critical elements
A built-in 11MP camera, ensuring high-resolution imaging for meticulous analysis
The ability to examine documents in both visible and ultraviolet light.
The spectrometer-microscope operates on the Regula Forensic Studio professional software suite. The software streamlines image capture and processing during forensic examinations, allowing investigators to register and store results in a local database.
The software also provides access to Regula‘s Information Reference Systems, serving as a comprehensive resource for document security features. This feature enhances forensic investigators‘ capabilities by offering a detailed and accessible database of information.
Emphasised as particularly useful for mobile laboratories, the Regula 5006 has the potential to reduce the reliance on extensive lab equipment. Its compact size, combined with powerful features and software capabilities, make it a versatile tool for forensic research.
